A1. A picture can be helpful in identifying a screw if it is laid next to a metric ruler. However, we cannot be absolutely sure of the size from only a picture.

A2. sales@laptopscrews.com

A3. Original Equipment Manufacturer - this is what we call the screws that are exact replicas of the screws used in laptop computers.

A4. Check here first Service Manual Links. If you can't find the answer here we suggest that you try to measure an existing screw. The best way is to use a digital caliper. A plastic caliper can be used but they are quite as accurate. Let us know if you used plastic and we will make the adjustments for you. You can also try measuring with a ruler - standard or metric. If all else fails write to us and we will try to help or try buying an assortment.

A5. Let us know what size you are looking for and where it will be used and we will try to make a recommendation. As a rule you don't have to have the exact length so long as you get close.

A6. No, sorry but most of the assortments are prepackaged and contain random sizes that is why they are so inexpensive. If you need specific sizes please place a custom order. We will be happy to send you an invoice.

A7. Sorry, we have no way of saying that a specific size will be included in an assortment. Assortments contain a good variety of the sizes we carry but they are random so each pack will be different. There may be 10 to 20 different sizes included.

A8. Yes and no. We can place special orders if they are available from our suppliers. Some sizes just aren't available and would have to be ordered from a manufacturer who would produce them for you. Those screws would have a high minimum order and depending on the specifications could cost several thousand dollars. We are happy to look into it for you.

A9. We need to know what brand and model computer you have and if we can find a service manual we may be able to tell you which size to order. There are no standard sizes used for the different components with the exception of the hard drive screws.

A10. All hard drives that we have seen take the same size screws and this includes the ones used in desktop computers. They are 3mm in diameter or M3 and the lengths vary between 3mm and 5mm.  On certain laptops the thickness of the head of the screw is critical and must be extremely thin. Our hard drive screws will work in most computers.

A11. Yes, send us a list of items and quantities you want and we will be happy to send you a PayPal invoice to make your purchase easier. Be sure to specify colors and type of screws such as "black OEM" or "Zinc Pan head"

A12. Sorry, those numbers could mean anything. It could mean M2 diameter pan head (P2) or the (F12) could mean 12mm long flat head.

A13. With few exceptions all laptop screws are the same. The head may be a little wider or narrower; or the screws may be a different color but it is the diameter and length that are important. The head height may also be important but the OEM screws all have very thin head height and should work in all brands.

A14. We don't have a part number cross-reference so you will have to tell us what size you are looking for.

A.15 Yes, through this website. See the shipping page for rates. We ship via USPS Global Priority. The reason is these packages seem to get through customs more successfully than our standard packaging.

A16. Probably, but we will need to know what size you need.

A17. Yes, we have a small supply of 5mm round bumpers in black and silver. They are listed under Connectors, Covers, Jumpers.

A18. If you need to order a large number of screws we can send you an invoice through PayPal. There are further discounts at 5000 screws.

A19  Yes, all of our screws are brand new

A20. Yes, our screws are compatible with all laptop brands. Screws are screws so as long as you order the correct size they should work for your brand

A21. No, there are too many models on the market for us to carry specific sets for each model. We will do our best to help you put together a set from the sizes we have available though.

A22. Yes, you can send the screws to our shop at: CS Enterprises, 245 Stringer Bullock Rd, Foxworth, MS 39483

A23. M2 means the screw has a major diameter of 2mm. 4mm is the length of the screw. The diameter is always given first followed by the length of the screw.

A24. We don't carry anything that big but we can probably special order it for you. There is a special order fee for small quantities.

A25. We make every attempt to get your order shipped the day after payment is made. Occasionally, when volumes are high shipping may take as long as 3 days. Special orders can delay your shipment up to 2 weeks. If it takes longer than that you will receive an email notification. If you need certain items sooner please order the special order items separately from the rest of your order. If you have already placed your order write to us and we will try to help.

A26. Yes, we shipped your package. The "tracking" number is actually only a delivery confirmation number. The post office does not have to actually scan the package until it is delivered. Some postal workers do scan the packages on receipt but the rule at our local post office is they only scan on delivery. Delivery normally takes place within 2 to 5 days after a label is printed. It can take longer during holiday seasons but if you haven't received your package within a reasonable time please let us know.

A27. When your order has been shipped you will receive an email from Service@Paypal.com letting you know that your package was shipped via USPS
